Our philosophy - The Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative

Safety, Respect and Autonomy

The Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative (MFCI), a set of guidelines aimed at promoting optimal maternity care and supporting women's choices during childbirth.

We believed that  childbirth is a normal, healthy process, and it emphasizes the importance of supporting and respecting women's autonomy, choices, and individual experiences during this transformative period.

We ensured that maternity care is provided in a manner that respects the emotional, cultural, and psychosocial aspects of each woman's individual experience.

Our main Goal: Nurturing Mom's and Babies health

Chinese medicine, including acupuncture and herbal therapy, has been used for centuries to support the health and well-being of pregnant women. In recent times, both Eastern and Western medical communities have forged a consensus acknowledging acupuncture's safety and effectiveness as a means to nurture both the pregnant woman and the developing fetus throughout the 42 weeks of gestation. Here are some potential benefits associated with Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and herbs during pregnancy

  1. Morning Sickness Relief: Acupuncture and specific herbal remedies offer effective relief from nausea and vomiting common in early pregnancy
  2. Stress Reduction: Acupuncture increases endorphin levels, promoting relaxation and reducing stress—an invaluable support for both the mother and the developing fetus.
  3. Pain Management: Address pregnancy-related discomforts, including back pain, pelvic pain, and sciatica, with acupuncture, providing a drug-free alternative for pain management.
  4. Labor Preparation: Utilize acupuncture and specific herbs to prepare the body for labor, potentially aiding in cervical ripening and optimal positioning of the baby.
  5. Breech Baby Correction: Acupuncture may encourage the baby to transition from a breech position to a head-down position, potentially minimizing the need for medical interventions.
  6. Regulating Menstrual Cycle and Hormones: Employ Chinese medicine before conception to regulate hormones and promote fertility, particularly for women with fertility issues or irregular menstrual cycles.
  7. Postpartum Recovery: Leverage the healing properties of Chinese medicine, including herbal formulas, to support postpartum recovery by promoting healing, replenishing energy, and balancing hormones.

Experience the proven benefits of Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and herbal therapy during pregnancy. Enhance your well-being and nurture a healthy pregnancy journey through these time-tested practices.
