We are pleased to inform our patients that our clinic is now in-network with both American Specialty Health (ASH) and UnitedHealthcare.

In California, several insurers have contracted with American Specialty Health (ASH) to manage their acupuncture benefits. These plans typically have their acupuncture services "carved out" and managed separately by ASH. Some of the major insurers that have such arrangements include:

Anthem Blue Cross, Health Net, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, Aetna

Patients with these insurers may have their acupuncture benefits administered by ASH, which means that they need to see an ASH network provider for their acupuncture services to be covered.

What does this mean for you?

If you have acupuncture benefits as part of your insurance plan, we will gladly submit claims on your behalf.. This means you may still be able to receive reimbursement for a portion of your acupuncture treatments, even if we are not yet in-network with your insurance company.
